Here are step by step instructions. [View this email in your browser]( [Home Storage Solutions 101: A Place For Everything That Matters]( Dear {NAME}, It's time for a new challenge in the 52 Week Organized Home Challenge. We're continuing to focus on decluttering and organizing clothes this week, specifically kids clothes as we deal with organizing kids' closets. Week #33 Organized Home Challenge: Organizing Closet Space For Your Kids Your challenge this week is to take steps toward decluttering and [organizing closet space for your kids' clothes and possessions](. Figuring out how to organize kids' closets so they can find the things they need quickly and easily is important both for children too young to do it themselves, and for your older kids that need to learn some organization skills of their own. Of course, exactly what you need to do differs depending on how old your kids are. Plus, if you have several children like me (I have three) then you may not be able to get all these closets organized in one week. That's no problem, just go at your own pace for the little ones' closets and get your older children to pitch in for their own. I've also gotten questioned a lot recently about what to do if you don't have kids at home anymore, or yet, etc. No problem -- work on your own closet, or another family members' closet. There is always work that can get done, so you know you can find something to do, right? :) I've got step by step instructions for this week's challenge in the link below. [Click Here For Organizing Kids' Closet Challenge]( [Organize Kids Closet]( [Pin The Article For Later]( Tips For Decluttering Shoes By The Entryway Or Door It's OK for there to be some shoes stored close to your door, since it's a natural place people like to take off and then later put shoes on. Of course, the problem comes when you accumulate too many by the door, or they become a mess or tripping hazard. In this article I've listed some simple steps to declutter this area, and some habits you can adopt to keep the shoe clutter from re-accumulating in this space again in the future. At the beginning of this year you decided that you wanted to get your home decluttered, and you were going to follow the Declutter 365 daily missions to get it done. Now it's summer, and half the year has passed! What? I know, I can't believe it either. If you've been following the Declutter 365 plan you know it's very simple, but effective. Each day you're given one task that you work on for 15 minutes (or longer, but only if you wish to), that will help you slowly, but surely, remove clutter from your home while developing the habits and routines to keep your home clutter free, from now on. Of course, before you can do the day's task, you've got to remember and be reminded of the day's task! And sometimes, this can be a stumbling block. That's why I wanted to do something to help everyone remember what the day's task is, and it came to me -- [text messages]( Many of us carry around our phone everywhere, and when we hear that little ding signaling an incoming text we glance down and read what's been sent. It's already a habit for us. So why not use that habit to our advantage? Each morning, at 8:00 a.m. EST, approximately, I send out a text telling you exactly what you should declutter and work on, in your home, that day. You hear the ding on your phone once the text is received, you read the message, and then you can plan how you'll get that task done sometime during the day! Simple, and yet quite effective. And right now I've got a sale on the Declutter 365 text messages for $18 off the rest of the year, when you use promo code SUMMER2020 at checkout. That means this is the lowest price I've ever offered these texts! Please note that these texts are available only for U.S. based mobile phone numbers. Do not purchase these texts if you have an international number. Make sure to use promo code SUMMER2020 at checkout, for $18 off the rest of the year!
