We have a whole section tackling paper clutter within the Declutter 365 plan. As you go through this journey to deal with your paper piles, wherever they may be in your home -- from flat surfaces like counters, stuffed into bins and storage tubs, on the floor of your closet, stuffed into file cabinets and drawers, or wherever else they may be, it may seem overwhelming. But just remember, you can do it. Work on it for 15 minutes at a time. [Dealing With Paper Clutter]( My suggestion, set a timer for 10 minutes, deal with one reasonably sized paper pile during that time (even if that means you've got to section a pile off to become more reasonable), and the last 5 minutes of your 15 minute session do whatever needs to be done to clean up from your mini-decluttering session, such as throw papers away, shred them, or file them. That way you make progress and don't make a huge mess in the process. It may not seem like you're making a dent, but you do this over and over, once a day or more if you have time, and you WILL make progress!
