[View this email in your browser]( [Home Storage Solutions 101: A Place For Everything That Matters]( Dear {NAME}, Let's get going on a whole new section of the 52 Week Organized Home Challenge, starting this week, and that's the storage areas of your home. These storage areas include your basement (Week #13), garage (Week #14), attic, or other storage areas such as storage rooms or closets (Week #15). I placed all these areas together in the schedule and calendar for several reasons. First, when you're doing 15 minutes a day of decluttering, one week's worth of these time blocks will not, for many of us, declutter a very full storage area, if you've been filing your basement with stuff for decades, for example. Further, not all of us have every single one of these areas. For example, I personally have a garage, but don't have a basement, and I don't store anything in my attic, so it's empty. Therefore putting all three weeks of these challenges together allows you to choose one storage area that you'd like to work on, and have three weeks to really focus on decluttering it, if you choose. Of course, even three weeks of 15 minute a day sessions may not be enough. That's OK. It'll take as many sessions as it takes, but during the next few weeks you will be able to make some great progress in these areas. I hope you're excited to begin, and we're starting with the basement! Basement Organization Challenge: Week #13 This week's 52 Week Organized Home Challenge is [basement organization](. We'll tackle how to declutter, properly store, and organize everything down in your basement that you access frequently or infrequently. Our basements can all too easily become a dumping ground for every piece of junk and clutter we think we might need someday, or don't want to make a decision about right now. Plus, this space is often one of the largest storage areas in your home. Put these two facts together and you can easily accumulate a mound of stuff in this space to the point where you can't find anything. This week we're going to change the way we use our basements, to get both as much living space and storage space out of them as possible. It's really true, because it's where we all gather together, while preparing and sharing meals. That's the kitchen dream, isn't it?â But we also know that when it's time to make dinner and all the pots and pans are still dirty from last night's dinner, and there's no room on the counter for food prep, then the kitchen feels more like a nightmare. What if I told you, though, that putting into place a few habits and routines in your kitchen, daily, could transform your kitchen nightmare back into your kitchen dream, and it's something you can learn how to do consistently, in just 30 minutes per day, or less.â Join Taylor Flanery, from Home Storage Solutions 101, in Declutter 365 Premium, to discuss the April habit of the month live, on Tuesday, April 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. EST, or watch on replay when it's convenient for you, to learn all about the daily kitchen clean up routine, including the exact steps to take after each meal, and each evening for this process.
