[Home Designs Under 100 Sqm With L-Shape Living Spaces (Plus Floor Plans): Interior Design Ideas]() [Link to Interior Design Ideas]() --------------------------------------------------------------- [Home Designs Under 100 Sqm With L-Shape Living Spaces (Plus Floor Plans)](r/home-designing/~3/B3ayOr_9ev8/home-designs-under-100-sqm-with-l-shape-living-spaces-plus-floor-plans?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email) Posted: 11 Sep 2020 07:45 AM PDT Measuring just under 100 square metres, these two chic home tours bring us beautiful room design ideas and creative floor plan inspiration that navigate challenging L-shaped living spaces. Home number one takes us down the modern neutrals track with a grey, black, white and wood tone decor palette but don’t be fooled into thinking this is a run of the mill kind of space. Get set for a unique kitchen layout with an angular island, plus a unique glass wall snug. Our second tour takes us on a journey of dark green decor, with emerald accents playing over a stylish open plan living room, a colour block entryway, a kids’ room design and an atmospheric bathroom. Designer: [Stanislav Kaminskyi]( Located in Kyiv, Ukraine, this 96 square metre apartment features an elegant open plan living room. Oak effect panels line an accent wall, which acts as a material extension of the oak veneer kitchen design. A display of indoor plants make a layered backdrop for a linear [modern sofa](. A black [round coffee table]( brings a contrasting note to the rest of the pale grey lounge arrangement, which creates a colour link with the dark TV wall decor. The flourishing [indoor plants]( seem to defy the grey concrete jungle outside the window. The spokes of a large [dining room chandelier]( accentuate the angular pairing of a hexagonal kitchen island and its perpendicular dining area. Under the kitchen island, a [wine storage]( unit faces out towards the dining table, making that next bottle of wine with dinner oh-so convenient. White marble smoothly tops the black [island]( and [L-shaped kitchen](. Glass display cabinets introduce an atmospheric lighting element to the kitchen. The end of the kitchen installation is utilised as entryway storage, with the introduction of a coat rail and shoe rack. A large frameless mirror balances out the height and width of the front door. A cosy snug is positioned just off the main living room. An inspirational lighting scheme stripes around the perimeter of the room and its wall panels. Custom cut mirror creates optical illusions of added space. The [floor lamp]( set is the [Oda style lamp](. Originals are available [here](. A slatted panel is reflected in the glass, making the short wall of the room look twice its actual length. Glass doors separate the snug from a home workspace in the open plan L-shaped living room. Wooden slats stripe the walls of the work area, giving it a warm and welcoming aesthetic. Stem hung [bedroom pendant lights]( illuminate one bedside unit, whilst a coordinating floor lamp balances out the opposite side. A black and white woven [rug]( darkens the floor beneath a white [platform bed](. The wide bedroom window made a clear invitation for a [window seat](. Cushioned pads soften the built-in wooden volume. A chic grey and gold [vanity stool]( is paired with a bespoke dressing table, and a round [vanity mirror]( with a unique flair. Glass doors lead into a dressing room. A second set of glass doors adjoin an ensuite bathroom. The master bathroom is a generous size, and made to look even larger with huge expanses of luxurious grey marble. A white freestanding [bathtub]( looks fresh against the dark stone. The aligned glass doors allow the bedroom, dressing room and ensuite to flow as one space. The toilet and bidet set follow a grey colourway that merges with the walls of the [grey and white bathroom](. The apartment also has an additional shower room that’s coupled with a utility area. Floor plan. Designer: [Suithouse Studio]( Measuring 91 square metres in Kyiv, Ukraine, this apartment features a sumptuous [green living room](. A pillowy green sofa looks super inviting in the fresh and open space. A dining bar inhabits the linear space left behind the sofa, where it benefits from lashings of natural light. The oak floor is changed out for stone tile as we move toward the kitchen. Black and wood cabinets create a rich vibe across the [one wall kitchen]( design. Shallow shelving units and wine glass racks are neatly concealed behind a sliding wood panel. The green vibe continues into the other half of the L-shape living room with a painted slatted wall across the dining area. A [modern chandelier]( effectively mirrors the outline of the sleek [round dining table](. Botanical place mats bring the green accent to the table. Green entryway decor comes in the form of practical storage units and an entryway bench seat. Charcoal walls separate out the remainder of the hallway. Dark decor is lightened by a floor to ceiling mirror in the bedroom entryway. Further inside, a [linear suspension light]( brightly illuminates the dark [grey bedroom]( scheme. A matching [bedside table]( wings each side of the grey upholstered bed. The walk-in closet shines through its glass doors, revealed in enticing glimpses through black shutters. A floating vanity table/media shelf combo is underlit along its length, creating a soft radiance along the black slatted statement wall. A stylish vanity stool poses in the warm spotlight. An unusual green [bathroom sink]( enriches the dark green bathroom design. White marble slabs uplift the darker elements of the room, whilst wooden finishes turn up the visual temperature. In the cloakroom, the green colour theme has been dropped completely in favour of a monochrome scheme. A matt black toilet and wall mounted hand basin hang in the shadows. A ribbon of LED light adds dimension inside a recessed shelf over the cistern. More LED strips are tucked behind a dropped ceiling panel to crisply illuminate the perimeter of the built-in shower enclosure. The floor plan visualisation shows us a second bedroom in the property, a green kids’ room with twin beds and a practical double workspace under the wide window. Two closets provide equal storage on either side of the room.
