Grammy Awards 2024 ►🏆 Ladies night 🏆 Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, SZA and Billie Eilish were among the winners at the 2024 Grammy Awards, which were handed out Sunday in two separate ceremonies taking place in Los Angeles. Swift won album of the year for Midnights, making her the first person to win that category four times. Victoria Monét was named best new artist. Miley Cyrus accepted the award for best pop solo performance for her hit "Flowers," marking her first-ever Grammy win. She won her second Grammy later in the show, for record of the year. Matthew Vaughn's pricey spy comedy Argylle bombed at the North American box office in the biggest miss to date for Apple’s theatrical ambitions. THR's [Pamela McClintock]( writes that Argylle opened to an estimated $18m from 3,605 cinemas against a price tag of $200m to $250m according to sources. The results weren’t much better overseas, where Argylle opened to an estimated $17.3m from 78 markets, for a global start of $35.3m. The good news: Thanks to little competition, it won the weekend. Alana Haim, who made her acting debut in Anderson’s Licorice Pizza, and A Thousand and One breakout Teyana Taylor have been added to the cast, along with Wood Harris and Shayna McHayle. Newcomer Chase Infiniti has also joined the untitled feature, which is currently in production and, as previously announced, stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn and Regina Hall. Filming has begun in Scotland on Outlander: Blood of My Blood, a show that will focus on the parents of the leads in the main series. Harriet Slater and Jamie Roy will play Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, who will eventually become Jamie’s parents in 18th century Scotland. Hermione Corfield and Jeremy Irvine will play Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp, Claire’s parents, whose story unfolds in World War I-era England.
