British actor Julian Sands, known for roles in the films A Room With a View and Warlock, was reported missing Friday after going hiking in California’s San Gabriel Mountains earlier that day. Sands was reported missing around 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Baldy Bowl area of Mount Baldy, according to authorities. A search began, but ground crews were taken off the mountain Saturday evening amid avalanche risks and poor trail conditions due to snow and ice. [The story.]( —Decision soon. A New Mexico prosecutor will announce a decision today over whether to file criminal charges against Alec {NAME} and others for their roles in the fatal shooting on the set of Rust in October 2021. Michael Jackson is getting the biopic treatment. Lionsgate and director Antoine Fuqua are taking on the musician’s life in a film titled Michael. Graham King, a seasoned hand at biopics with the Oscar-winning Queen film Bohemian Rhapsody under his belt, is producing along with John Branca and John McClain, who are the co-executors of the Michael Jackson estate. James Wan’s Atomic Monster and Jason Blum’s Blumhouse have officially announced a sequel to M3GAN, the horror sensation that opened Jan. 6.
