The nominations for the 2023 Golden Globes were announced Monday. Mayan Lopez and Selenis Leyva from NBC’s Lopez vs. Lopez, revealed the nominees in 27 categories spanning film and TV. The upcoming 80th edition of the Globes is set to return to NBC in January, a year after an entertainment industry boycott over several damaging scandals linked to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever had no trouble staying atop the box office chart in its fifth weekend, earning $11.1m to become only the third film of 2022 so far to leap past the $400m mark at the domestic box office. Wakanda Forever's domestic haul is now $409.8m, while it has earned $767.8m worldwide. In North America, it will soon pass Doctor Strange 2 ($411.3m) to rank as the second top-grossing title of the year so far behind Top Gun: Maverick ($718.1m).
