âºBob Iger: Decision to stop taking accepting Netflix ads was "petty," but the right call. "In Apple and Amazon’s case, the thinking was that they buy a lot of ads for other products as well, in Netflix’s case, it is just one giant competitor to what we are doing," he said. "My initial reaction to it was that it felt somewhat petty, but when it was described to me, I decided to support the decision that was made."
--Iger also said that the Fox film studio struggled due to "unknowns" around the Disney acquisition, and leadership changes there. 'Terminator: Dark Fate' Review
âºReview: Terminator: Dark Fate. John DeFore reviews the big-budget sequel, which brings Linda Hamilton and James Cameron back into the Terminator fold.
Quote: "Dark Fate does offer a fair bit of pleasure to those wanting a 21st century retread of T2. But it suffers greatly from obeying the imperative the first sequel established: Trying to blow minds and up the ante the way that FX-pioneering adventure did, this one offers a series of action set pieces that go from big to huge to ludicrous, even as the script's additions to fear-the-future mythology underwhelm."
