From the first Swiss-made Timex in four decades to the first mechanical chronograph from Grand Seiko, the Hodinkee Shop has a watch for everyone.   [Shop New Watches](   [Shop Pre-Owned Watches](   THE LATEST ARRIVALS [Image of Timex Giorgio Galli S2]( [Timex Giorgio Galli S2]( A few years ago industry veteran and now Timex Creative Director, Giorgio Galli, released the S1 bearing his name. It was a beautiful timepiece that showed Timex could push its design language forward. Now we have the second act from the mind of Galli, and wow did he bring a whole new level of design to the brand. The black dial serves as a minimalistic backdrop for a watch with very little printing on the dial, letting the case architecture do the talking. Typical hour markers are left behind in favor of a metal circular ring that is notched at each hour mark. It is both minimalistic, yet easy to read in person. On the ring is the name of the watch, with Swiss Made printed below. That is right, a Swiss made Timex.   [Shop Timex Giorgio Galli S2](     [Image of Grand Seiko Mechanical Hi-Beat 36000 Tentagraph]( [Grand Seiko Mechanical Hi-Beat 36000 Tentagraph]( In 1969, Seiko was one of the original three pioneers to introduce an automatic chronograph. However, until now, Grand Seiko has entrusted their chronographs to be driven by the brand’s distinctive and modern Spring Drive movement. Given the precision and dependability of this technology, it's clear why it has been integral to their chronographs. Nevertheless, there's an undeniable allure in gazing through a sapphire caseback and witnessing the intricate interplay of gears offered by a purely mechanical chronograph movement. Grand Seiko has responded to this desire by introducing the new 9SC5 movement, an automatic vertical clutch column wheel marvel that operates at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour (VPH), all the while providing an impressive power reserve of 72 hours. Aptly named the "Tentagraph" – denoting the 10 beats per second rhythm of the movement – The combination of a high-frequency movement with a three-day power reserve represents a leading achievement within the industry. This accomplishment is even more noteworthy in the context of a vertical clutch movement, which, due to its design, maintains the chronograph in operation, even when disengaged.   [Shop Grand Seiko Tentagraph](       [Hodinkee Limited Editions](   [( [( [( [Custom]( This email was sent to: {EMAIL} [Manage Preferences]( | [Unsubscribe from Hodinkee emails]( Hodinkee P.O.
