It's the only way.]( [BY MARK HACKMAN]( [READ THE SHOP JOURNAL]( FEATURED ON THIS WEEK'S PRE-OWNED PICKS [Image of Rolex Milgauss 116400]( [Rolex Milgauss 116400]( The modern Milgauss was launched in 2007 before Watches and Wonders existed, but its production run officially ended this week. Farewell to the playful lightning bolt seconds hand and orange accents. [Tudor Black Bay Pro 79470]( The Black Bay Pro, from last year's Watches and Wonders, is Tudor doing what it does best: Dig back through the Rolex/Tudor archives and bring forward a modern interpretation through a snowflake shaped lens. At a glance, the piece resembles a Rolex Explorer II – it has the steel GMT bezel and yellow/orange GMT hand of the ref. 1655. [Image of Tudor Black Bay Pro 79470]( [Image of Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 126000]( [Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 126000]( The biggest hit of Watches & Wonders in 2020 was the colorful new Rolex Oyster Perpetual lineup. It launched an industry-wide trend where just about every brand had to have its own colorful dials. Some of the colors, like this yellow example, were around for less than two years – the red and some sizes of the light blue have also disappeared. [Tudor Heritage Black Bay Panda Chrono 79360]( For the 2021 show, Tudor introduced the panda chronograph 79360, a surprise successor to the 79350 from 2017. This newer model brought with it a panda and reverse panda dial layout, along with a half millimeter thinner case. With the black aluminum bezel insert, along with screw down pushers, this is a Tudor that looks a lot like a 1970s Daytona. [Image of Tudor Heritage Black Bay Panda Chrono 79360]( [Image of Cartier Must de Cartier WSTA0072]( [Cartier Must de Cartier WSTA0072]( When the Must de Cartier line was launched in the 1980s, it set a new entry point into the world of Cartier. The reissued Musts in 2021 had all manner of colored dials (in a way, they were an answer to the Oyster Perpetuals we mentioned above), and in 2022 this black model was added. Like a little black dress in the back of the closet that is ready for a night out, this little black watch is the most versatile and downright sexy of the Must collection.
