Their love was for 1950s divers from Rolex, Omega and Blancpain, the DNA of which is distilled to an essence in all of Unimatic's ultra-minimalist watches. Their first watch, the now beloved UC-1, came out to critical acclaim in 2015, and since then the young brand had been offering limited collaboration models and short runs of their standard models. The Unimatic story is nothing short of a homerun for an independent startup brand. Demand for Unimatics has long exceeded supply. Limited editions sold out in minutes, frustrating collectors around the world and driving up prices on the secondary market. In 2022, Unimatic is putting its most favored modes in the most standard black colorway into regular production as the Classic series.
