[With it, the brand revisits the first mechanical timepiece ever to be filled with oil, and pulls from Sagmeister's work in the form of three words stated right along the minutes chapter on the dial: "Now Is Better."]( THE RESSENCE TYPE 3X [With the groundbreaking ROCS (Ressence Orbital Convex System), Ressence established early on that it would show the time in a completely different, yet highly intuitive, way. And while Ressence has received widespread validation from watch collectors and the horological cognoscenti, it has also established itself as a maker of design objects with a following in the art world.]( [As with the original, the distinctive oil-filled display of the Type 3X results in a water drop dial effect with crystal clear legibility. Working with oil required Ressence to create a hermetically sealed, and quite unique two-chamber system in which magnets connect the movement to the display.]( [The olive-toned dial softens and darkens with the presence of oil, and is paired with an olive strap.
