But thereâs something more pernicious underway⦠A global tragedy is occurring: The death of ASPIRATION and INSPIRATION. We have lost the sacred fire in our hearts. The belief that a more beautiful world is possible is dwindling. You might feel the same⦠- When did I let go of the desire to be as strong and aesthetic as the Greek Gods?
- When did I stop dreaming about being as disciplined as the Shaolin Monks?
- When did I sacrifice the ideal of the Renaissance Man on the altar of practicality?
- When did I stop pursuing the immaculate virtues of the Religious Avatars?
- When did I drift away from pursuing the awakenings of the Buddhist Masters?
- When did I accept that being immersed in brotherhood and sisterhood just wasn't for me?
- When did I lose the belief that I could make a lasting difference in the world, or in my own life?
- When did I stop believing that these were possible for ME?
- ⦠when did I let my dreams die? It happens slowly, over time. The entropy of ideals. But NO LONGER. I will not be a victim of this plague. This is where I make my stand. I will die for this. This is a battle for the playful imagination of humanity â the true engine of evolution. It is a war of consciousness. The battlefield is our everyday lives. Every moment I make my move. The victories are won against my inner critic, the closing of my heart, the dampening of my spirit, and the loss of my purpose and passion. NO LONGER. But itâs hard. Believe me, I know. I am my own worst enemy. My shadows are my most skilled opponents. For as powerful as I am, I have the equal force to hold myself back. To bite my tongue, to go against my values, to be a force of destruction instead of creation. The only true battle is in the hearts and minds of every individual. In YOU. This is true Self-Mastery. But I know this is a challenge. A sacred opportunity. My deepest wisdom gives me the obstacles I need to become great. I will become a living, breathing example of the beauty, strength, heart, and imagination of humanity. My life is my message. In the transformative fires of self-initiation, I forge my character. This is the WARRIOR SPIRIT. The vitalizing, activating life force of peoples, cultures, and ideas. It brings purpose, focus, integrity, and vitality to your life. Difficult is the cost of greatness. If itâs hard, if it challenges you, youâre right on track. Itâs not meant to be easy. This is the greatest opportunity of your life. This is the opportunity of being alive.
