The spring is approximately 370 feet (110 m) in diameter, 160 feet (50 m) deep, and discharges an estimated 560 gallons (2,100 L) of water per minute. Its vivid colors, which match the rainbow dispersion of white light by a prism, are caused by layers of microorganisms that live around the edges of its mineral-rich water." ð¯ The Attitude Is The Difference From Eric Brown, HighExistence Steward: âFear is excitement without the breathâ â Fritz Perls, MD, psychiatrist and founder of Gestalt therapy Fear and excitement trigger the same physiological reaction: your heart rate increases, you get a little sweaty, and you breathe heavier, faster. The only difference is your attitude. This week I heard from a friend who signed up for the [Hero100,](=) âAm I ready? Hell no! Am I worthy? Hell yeah!â What a beautiful way to frame it. Major undertakings like this can bring up a lot of emotion. Fear, concern, apathy, and a good amount of time eating at the shame buffet. Are you on the fence because youâre fearful of getting in over your head? That youâre not quite capable of doing this? That one of the challenges is too difficult? You can channel that fear into excitement. Try it real quick: From a state of fear (or nervousness), think âOh boy, I donât know if I can do this!â Go ahead, say it out loud. Now, imagine youâre about to do something exciting. Repeat the same phrase: âHot damn, I donât know if I can do this!â Same phrase, totally different tone, yeah? If you are sitting here today, reading this, I have no doubt of your capability. You CAN do this, no question. What remains for you to decide is, WILL you? Do you hear the call of your inner hero, begging to be unleashed and rise up? Do you feel, truly, deeply, how powerful you are? Itâs safe to let that power out. You are not too big for this world. Your light is not too bright. We have an exceptional container to hold you. Holy shit, I know you can do this. Join us for the [Hero100](=). Doors close March 28th. Letâs go get it. ð Outside and inside, Life and soul Ponder this quote from archetypal psychologist James Hillman: âOutside and inside, life and soul, appear as parallels in âcase historyâ and âsoul history.â A case history is a biography of historical events in which one took part: family, school, work, illness, war, love. The soul history often neglects entirely some or many of these events, and spontaneously invents fictions and âinscapesâ without major outer correlations. The biography of the soul concerns experience. It seems not to follow the one-way direction of the flow of time, and it is reported best by emotions, dreams, and fantasies ⦠The experiences arising from major dreams, crises, and insights give definition to the personality. They too have ânamesâ and âdatesâ like the outer events of case history; they are like boundary stones, which mark out oneâs own individual ground. These marks can be less denied than can the outer facts of life, for nationality, marriage, religion, occupation, and even oneâs own name can all be altered ⦠Case history reports on the achievements and failures of life with the world of facts. But the soul has neither achieved nor failed in the same way ⦠The soul imagines and plays â and play is not chronicled by report. What remains of the years of our childhood play that could be set down in a case history? ⦠Where a case history presents a sequence of facts leading to diagnosis, soul history shows rather a concentric helter-skelter pointing always beyond itself ⦠We cannot get a soul history through a case history.â ð¤ Learn This Word Komorebi: Literally, âsunlight leaking through trees,â this japanese word describes the beauty and wonder of rays of light dappling through overhead leaves, casting dancing shadows on the forest floor. â³ From The Archives A hand-picked classic HighExistence article. â[10 Healing and Empowering Spiritual Practices Learned on a Pilgrimage Through Spain](â [spiritual practices spiritual practice spiritual exercises] â
In the Beginning⦠Early human life was difficult. Treacherous. We didnât have germ theory, didnât understand proper sanitation, and couldnât combat the darkness when night fell. For thousands of years, this state of existence continued in the dark, until the invention of fire. Once we controlled fire, we could cook, coordinate, and converse after dark. Our control of fire led to the creation of candles, and humans could now control when their surroundings were dark. The problem of the dark plagued humanity for ages. However, much like the dark and shadows when a beam of light falls on them, the problem of darkness disappeared with the invention of flame and candles. Oftentimes it is not the problem that gets in your way, but the lack of the appropriate tool to address the problem. Read that again. The problem is not the real problem, the problem is that you do not have the right tools to address the problem. â[Continue Reading](â ð¬ Endnote We hope you enjoyed this issue of Down The Rabbit Hole.
