Fellow conservative, We at Heritage Action are incredibly proud of the amazing work that our grassroots activists around the country have done to hold Congress accountable. Every day, the patriots in our Sentinel Program volunteer their time to promote conservative values. We’ve wanted to take a moment and answer some common questions we get from people who are considering joining the program. Does it cost to become a Sentinel? [The Heritage Action Sentinel program is a FREE volunteer activist organization.] While financial contributions are important, this program allows us to equip you with the tools you need to hold your Member of Congress accountable. I do not have very much time to spare, can I still be an active Sentinel? Whether it’s 1 hour of your time to attend a local town hall, or 30 minutes of your time to listen to our weekly call, or even just a few moments of your time to tweet or email your Representative, you can help make conservative voices heard. Who else is a Sentinel? Are they like me? Our Sentinels come from all walks of life, from business owners to retired veterans or stay-at-home moms. Some Sentinels are already local leaders of their tea party groups, others are new to political activism and are looking for ways to be heard. [Our Program is ready to work with you every step of the way.] You are in Washington, DC, how can you help me in my local community? Heritage Action has a team of 13 Regional Coordinators that work closely with our Sentinels across the country. We are well versed on the issues facing your community, and our job is to make sure Washington, DC hears from you. By amplifying your voice we can make conservative policy happen. Does Congress actually listen to constituents like me? YES! Every day we have activists just like you talking with their members of Congress. Representatives have texted our activists from the floor of Congress to ask how they should vote. When our activists speak, Washington listens. [With more than 16,000 conservative activists around the country, will you consider joining us?] Heritage Action for America | 214 Massachusetts Avenue NE, Suite 400 | Washington, DC 20002 [Forward this email] | [Unsubscribe] -
