from our Show Yourself Some ExtraCare events with CVS! Presented by CVS Calling all self-care queens

from our Show Yourself Some ExtraCare events with CVS! Presented by CVS Calling all self-care queens: If you’re looking for ideas for your 2024 routine, we’ve got you covered. ICYMI, we recently teamed up with [CVS]( to host two amazing events in Tempe, AZ, and Atlanta, GA, and they were full of inspo that we can’t wait to use the next time we settle in for a self-care night. We shared all of the deets about our Show Yourself Some ExtraCare events in [our latest article]( but we’re giving you an exclusive sneak peek below. Here are three self-care ideas straight from our events that you can implement into your own routine this Spring semester! 1. Skincare Is Self-Care Our guests sat down with experts to talk about their skincare goals and get personalized product recommendations. Yes, taking care of your skin counts as self-care, whether your routine is as simple as washing your face and applying moisturizer or rivals a professional facial. So, don’t be afraid to go all out and really lean into the soothing vibes. Turn on your fave podcast or playlist, set up a diffuser with essential oils, and have a mini spa sesh every time you do your skincare routine. 2. Sip On Some Girl Hydration™ Guests enjoyed hydrating drinks from our complimentary mocktail bar. You know Girl Dinner. You know Girl Math. Now, we’re introducing something new to the Girl Universe: Girl Hydration™, a.k.a. sipping on a fun little drink that’s both hydrating and delicious. The recipe options are nearly endless, but here are three ideas from our events that you’ll definitely want to try: - Strawberry Peach Collagen Cooler, featuring [B’AEU Strawberry Peach Collagen Water]( - Coconut Aloe Refresher, featuring [Alo Exposed Aloe Vera + Honey Juice]( [Vita Coco Original Coconut Water]( lime juice, and club soda - Blood Orange Hibiscus Spritz, featuring [Sanpellegrino Aranciata Rossa]( hibiscus syrup, cranberry juice, and fresh lemon juice 3. When In Doubt, Breathe Guided breathwork and yoga sessions helped guests feel relaxed and restored. When life gets busy (read: when midterms and finals szn roll around), it can sometimes feel like there isn’t enough time in the day for self-care. Luckily, even a quick breathing exercise can do wonders for your wellbeing. Any time you start feeling overwhelmed, take a minute or two to focus on your breath — and get in those deep inhales and full exhales — for an instant refresh. Feeling inspired to level up your self-care routine in 2024?
