[HER Time PAC]( Pride is not only about parades and celebrations, {NAME}. Remember, Pride started as a riot. Yes, Pride is about celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and how far we’ve come. But it’s ALSO the time to stand up and get loud about the inequality that still exists all over our society. Especially with the onslaught of recent attacks on the transgender community, particularly on trans youth, now is the time to pressure lawmakers to take serious action to protect the health and safety of our trans siblings. From Florida’s "Don’t Say Gay" Bill to new bans on gender-affirming care in states across the country, this is an urgent moment in the movement. That’s why yesterday, some of our allies in Congress reintroduced the Equality Act. This legislation would amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, sexual orientation and gender identity — a step that is LONG overdue in the fight for true freedom. We’re putting pressure on Congress to immediately pass the Equality Act, and we’re asking you to join in our call. Together, our collective voice will be too powerful to ignore. [Add your name now to demand Congress finally guarantee true LGBTQ+ equality in our laws:]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Thanks, team. Enjoy Pride celebrations this weekend and throughout the month, but keep in mind how much further we have to go. — HER Time HER Time PAC 2120 University Ave Berkeley, CA 94704 United States [her-time.com]( | team@her-time.com Paid for by the HER Time PAC and not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee.
