And among the characters, is a curmudgeon employee named Richie (aka Cousin).
â Without giving away big spoilers, Richie is at his core the type of human who is comfortable with the way things are, and the way things have always been. Even if that âwayâ isnât a good thing.
â Weâve all been there at some point in our own lives â restlessly agitated by our current circumstances yet stubbornly resolute in keeping things where they are. Even though we know that this âwayâ is unfulfilling, boring, passionless, killing-us-slowly-in-our-cubicles.
â Thereâs a scene in the Bear where Richie is working a side hustle.
â And itâs through this side hustle, where he finds something that had been lost for him in his work for a very long time: passion and purpose. â
