Yes, itâs doable. [Group 935] {NAME}, Thereâs a big reason behind why I created Hello Seven and wrote my book: Systematically marginalized folks deserve more. That includes Black people, women, people of color, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, disabled people, and anyone who belongs to a community thatâs been held back by an unjust system. For the next month Iâll be bringing you content on entrepreneurship, âhow-toâs to help you grow your income, and actionable steps for building a badass, sustainable business that will serve you and your family for generations. More opportunities, more open doors, and more money. Period. The harsh reality is, the world is severely imbalanced when it comes to money. Most people know that thereâs a âwealth gapâ between men and women, white people and Black people, cisgender people and the queer community, able bodied people and disabled people. But really, itâs better described as a wealth chasm of Grand Canyon proportions. And Iâve got some stats to prove it: On a white manâs dollar, white women make 79 cents, Black women make 62 cents, Native American women make 57 cents, and Latina women make 54 cents. In the US, the net worth of an average white household is literally 10 times more than the net worth of the average Black household. The median net worth among households that have adult members with a disability is $33,318 less than the national median. Employers are 30% less likely to request an interview from a woman perceived as LGBTQIA+, compared to one perceived as heterosexual. And something extremely alarming â women face financial discrimination if theyâre not thin. Seriously. When a woman gains 65 pounds, sheâs likely to experience a 9% drop in earnings. Many of us in marginalized groups have felt stuck mentally and financially, buried in debt, unable to save adequately for retirement, and limited in so many other ways. Particularly if youâre a woman, youâve probably heard your entire life that building wealth means saving and scrimping every stray dollar bill you can find, cutting coupons, or not drinking lattes. This is terrible advice. We need to be more focused on growing and creating our wealth, instead of shrinking and eliminating to try to hold on to the little weâve got. If youâre tired of getting business advice, mindset strategies, and money tips from straight cis white guys who offer trite, unrealistic advice and donât look like you or understand what youâve been through, then this place, my community, is for you. But first, I want to hear from YOU. What would you love me and my team to talk about? What are some things about business and entrepreneurship that you struggle with and that you would love our advice on? Reply back to this email with some topics youâd like us to touch on, and donât forget to share this with all your friends who are ready for some real business advice from a Black woman and her diverse team. Iâm excited to dig in with you and watch your money grow. See you soon! xo, R [Group 936] [01.HelloSeven-Branding-Logo-RGB-Main 1] [Instagram](113/d2M4P904/VWSQXg5YxfvjW96MTkG7D_HjTW6tdK5Q50x9bJN7dHCv13lSbNV1-WJV7CgQ1pW7Z2-968s1X93N3jy5R3-WJVVW3mQJpF80GJw6W41HVYH3grg10V1_4v83xbYwtW7ntqgN5jtXLyW51HvJN2z45f3W4KZRjs5F_7BSN5YKtcsVyBdtV7n0SP7b-dzyW8VdW8F935F1FW6SQdys5HPnh5W2FvmN23pFvR3VbpSl28jLwRSN7904h0NM9_nW3WYQdl26wS_0W1Clbyz372wsHW3RYylK8RbB2nW3Pm8yR2_rQs7W6KfzTl607ZNqW5HVxCW4J_2CKW5Xhcww7skrrZ3gtT1)
