Is this tr [Weekly Sound Check Med-Res with Endless Logo] May 10th, 2021 The Tale Of Two Industries: From In-Person Events To The World Of Tech 🔥 The Best of the Best: - Tale of Two Industries:[From In-Person Events To Tech Industry]( - Attendee Immersion: [Experiential Virtual Events]( ✨ There are so many aspects to consider when planning an event! Catch your breath and check that you have everything you need with our [Virtual Event Bootcamp!]( What do Star Wars, Mexico, My Parents, and the Class of 2021 all have in common? - They all celebrated something last week! Tuesday: The week started off with a cult classic - May the Fourth! However, according to John, if you are not a Star Wars fan, it would benefit you to just move right along: [image (8)] Wednesday: Next up was one of the strangest holidays that Americans "celebrate" in my opinion: Cinco de Mayo. Another educational Tweet from John may come in handy: [image (7)-1] Thursday: My parents celebrated their marriage of 32 years! Saturday: Graduation was in full force this weekend, and I was able to celebrate my friend, Julianna, who graduated from grad school! Congratulations to the entire class of 2021! Sunday: And as if all of that weren't enough, Mum's day was Sunday! Shout out to all the fabulous moms out there! What a way to start May! Celebrating all of these things was, well, confusing. In a normal year, I probably would have found an excuse to party with friends and family for all of these occasions. However, it's still pretty clear that even with massive vaccine rollouts in the U.S., the pandemic isn't exactly over. So things looked a little different: - A night out on the town for Cinco de Mayo was replaced by some tacos at The Mission for lunch - Rather than going out to a big dinner for my mom and dad's anniversary, I made some churros and dulce de leche for a nice little dessert at home - Instead of a day of bar-hopping for Julianna's grad celebration, we had a quaint brunch with some close friends While things have been scaled back, it's just nice to be able to celebrate. A year ago, even a safe, socially-distanced meal would have terrified me. Heck, a year ago, most of my beloved restaurants weren't even open. We are slowly getting there, people! June will come with a whole new set of things we are able to enjoy if we continue to get vaccinated, stay safe, and remain optimistic. And now, here's the Weekly Soundcheck! 👬 Do you know an event professional who has recently moved into the tech industry?
