By this point, we all know what VR is, right? Virtual Reality became a reality quite a while ago. With each passing day, it feels like we are getting closer and closer to the life we once knew. We keep getting promising news that vaccines in the United States will be widely distributed in May, and small gatherings among vaccinated people are allowed by the CDC. At Endless, we have been keeping a close eye on this map that shows the [status of events all over the world.]( [image (7)]( Even [the Grammys]( looked similar to the typical award-show-format we are used to (minus the live audience). But, if you're anything like me, you'll believe it when you see it. As exciting as all this information is, I still have my doubts. Especially since we just underwent the anniversary of the start of the pandemic. While I'm hopeful that my Outside Lands ticket won't go to waste, the idea of being in a large group of people without masks in just a few months terrifies me. As always, we will keep you up to date on the latest in the industry. And we will continue doing what we've been doing for the last year: taking it one day at a time. And now, here's the Weekly Soundcheck! 🌐 VR is going to impact digital experiences more than you think [10-min read]( [virtual]( By this point, we all know what VR is, right? Virtual Reality became a reality quite a while ago. Here is our rundown of [VR's impact on digital experiences.]( ✨ Additional articles and resources: - [Creating Engaging Virtual Event Experiences]( - [Exploring Augmented Reality And Virtual Reality In Events]( 👨‍💻 Software Search I am going to make it a goal of mine to share some awesome event tech in the newsletter. We constantly get questions about what platforms are the best, what software can help elevate the virtual experience, and what integrations planners should look into. [postal]( When I came across [Postal.io](, I knew this was a piece of software that I wanted to share. I personally am geeking out on it because it allows our sales team to send letters or gifts of appreciation to clients. But, for event planners, it allows you to send awesome gifts, care packages, and even engagement activities to your attendees. Recently, Postal launched their Experience Marketing Platform, the ability to book experiences such as wine tasting, trivia and olive oil tasting. This new feature creates memorable moments for organizations to generate leads, increase sales, and retain happy customers. We are so excited to compliment their offering for our clients. We are collaborating with Postal.io to show you all how easy it is to use the software. The first 50 people who click [this link]( will receive a $5 Starbucks gift card! Who can say no to a free coffee in this economy? 🤔 Just because states are lifting restrictions, does that mean events should return? [PODCAST]( [no masks]( So... we need to talk about Covid restrictions. Some states are abandoning masks (we see you over there, Texas), others are slowly beginning to open restaurants for indoor dining, and the rest aren't budging on restrictions at all. With all these inconsistencies, I am just as confused as you all are. But the Brew Crew is here to break it all down for you and discuss these [lifted restrictions and what they mean for events.]( ✨ Additional articles and resources: - [COVID-19 Vaccines & The Events Industry]( - [Duty Of Care In The Events Industry]( 📆 Upcoming Events ✨ March 16th (tomorrow!) - 8:30 AM PST - [Untethered Design-A-Thon]( Will is a keynote speaker at Untethered this year.
