But ten minutes in, you [Weekly Sound Check Med-Res with Endless Logo] February 1st, 2020 Make Your Virtual Speakers Look Great With The Right Video + Lighting Kits 🔥 The Best of the Best: - Event Tech: [Best Virtual Speaker Kits: The Video & Lighting Edit!]( ✨ In case you missed it last week, I wanted to share Endless' [2021 Event Trends Guide!]( We have gotten some amazing feedback from it! Thank you all for all the love! [2021 ETG Gfx for Ads]( It's February!? Due to the pandemic, it has been increasingly difficult for me to wrap my head around the concept of time. It's baffling to me that we have already lived 31 full days of 2021! Perhaps this is happening because it feels like each week, we have a new major event to learn about and discuss: [pandemic]( It's been a wild year so far. A January filled with insurrection, inauguration, and investment news is in our rearview mirror. And February is already proving to be eventful and full of meaningful conversations. I'm sure you all have seen the little Google Calendar tile at the top of your daily schedule this morning. Or perhaps you saw Google's link to [Celebrating Black history makers, pioneers, and future leaders]( on their search page. I too was reminded this morning that February 1st is the start of Black History Month. These reminders are great, but one of our amazing Endless team members started a simple conversation this morning that called for action rather than just awareness. She asked what the company had planned for celebrating Black History Month. To be 100% real with you, it's not something we focused on in the past. Sure, we were aware of the month-long holiday, and we posted a couple of things here and there talking about it. But that was the extent of our involvement. This year, we are going to change that. And rather than just posting about Black History Month, we want to encourage action. This list of action items of [What Brands Can Do For MLK Day And Black History Month]( is a great start for any company that is wondering what they can do to help honor Black History Month. Also, for all of my fellow [Tiny Desk Concert]( lovers out there, I wanted to let you know how NPR plans on celebrating and highlighting Black artists: [tiny desk]( I am personally so excited for Sampa the Great! Blasting [Final Form]( in my car as I cruise down the I-10 will always put me in a good mood. Our goal for this month is not to share things on social media (or in the newsletter) that are performative. Endless not only wants to do our part in honoring Black History Month, but we also want to spark ideas, start conversations, and continue doing things that support inclusivity every day of the year. As always, we love to hear from our community! What are some ways that you like to see companies or events work towards a better, more diverse, more inclusive future? Feel free to reply to let me know your thoughts! Now, here's the Weekly Soundcheck! 👨‍🔬 Einstein Love “Meeting professionals will have to accommodate those opposing forces by simplifying what was becoming overly elaborate stage sets." - Will Curran Will was featured in an article by Smart Meetings entitled [Launch Conditions: A Flight Path For A Transformational Year]( where he warns that budget constraints could mean less digital information mapping and more content packages that can serve for both audiences. 📹 The best video and and lighting kits for speakers [(49-minute podcast)]( [lights camera action]( Picture this: you log in to a webinar or a virtual event and you start to enjoy the content of the keynote speaker. But ten minutes in, you can't pay attention to anything else besides how the speaker looks like they are broadcasting in from the dusty corner of their basement. It's 2021! We must put an end to the low-quality presentations! You can't always leave it up to the speakers, so what do you do? The Event Tech gurus are back with an all-new episode devoted to solving this issue! They are talking about the best speaker kits that will help turn any dark basement corner into a bright, whimsical set. If you are lost when it comes to empowering your speakers to step up their production, check out this episode all about [video and lighting tech for your speakers!]( ✨ Additional articles and resources: - [Best Speaker Kits: The Audio Edit!]( - [Virtual Event Speakers: The Ultimate Hacks For Success]( 📆 Upcoming Events ✨ Feb 23rd - 25th - Evolve 2.0 - Evolve 2.0 is only a few weeks away!
