But even defeating the Khazars wasn’t enough for the blood-lusted Vikings… The horror continued to spread around the lands as they raided and plundered the towns wherever the wind took them, bringing back great yields of gold, silver, and other treasures to their homeland. But it wasn’t all brutal, as Björns cunningness would have it… He and his men also settled trading relationships with the other region kingdoms, exchanging goods and forming alliances that helped strengthen their position of power… Truly a testament to the daring and adventurous spirit of the Vikings and a testament to Björns strength, courage and skill as a warrior and leader. As he led his brave warriors to victory against all odds… Despite the countless disadvantages and dangers they faced.
