A heartfelt reflection on today ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ?

A heartfelt reflection on today ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ [Haute Hijab Logo ]( [Shop Black Friday Sale Early]( To my beautiful HH family, Every year, I write a Thanksgiving message to you all. I talk about family and gratitude and reflect on the year. Given the events of the past month and a half, I can't even think about Thanksgiving. I think I speak for many of you when I say my mindset about this "holiday" has completely shifted. My mindset about many things American has completely shifted. And it's about time. I never understood the plight of Native Americans as intensely as I do today. The genocide against Palestinians has opened my eyes to so much – including the collective pain of all indigenous people who have been stripped of their land, humiliated and killed en masse. We have all woken up these past six weeks. It's been a collective awakening for all people of conscience. We will never be the same. The things we were once interested in seem so trite, so trivial, so empty. Priorities have shifted. Mindsets have changed. If you are gathering together with your loved ones today, hold them close. Tell them you love them and do not forget the people of Palestine. Pray for the people of Congo. Pray for the people of Sudan. Pray for Afghan refugees. Pray for all those who are oppressed. On this day, we mourn all indigenous communities who have lost their homes, land and loved ones. I write you this from Madinah, one of the most beautiful places on earth, and I cannot help but leave you with a hadith of our beloved Prophet (S). "You are not a true believer until you love for your brother what you love for yourself." How much of the world's suffering could be alleviated with this one sentence. We could all use more love in the world right now. ❤️  Love each and every one of you for the sake of Allah (S). [Shop Black Friday Sale Early]( Need help?
