The death toll from the earthquakes is around 50,000 while about two million have been displaced and are living in temporary housing, a number that’s hard to even fathom. I could not even begin to describe to you what I saw while out there. The support needed for survivors has not eased as time passes, and the hard work of rebuilding lives continues. That's why this Ramadan, my team and I are continuing our partnership with Islamic Relief USA to help support their ongoing earthquake relief efforts.
