This weekâs theme is quite the treat, because weâll be discussing four of Allahâs (S) names â Al-Ghafir, Al-Ghafoor, Al-Ghaffar and Al-Afw â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â â [Haute Hijab Logo ]( [Allah's (S) Forgiveness is Immediate, Powerful, Continuous & Complete â All We Need to Do is Ask]( This Ramadan, we're exploring various names and attributes of Allah (S) in a series, which will be featured throughout the holy month. This week focuses on [Al-Ghafir, Al-Ghafoor, Al-Ghaffar and Al-Afw](. âAllahâs love and divine intimacy with us does not change, but our awareness of that love shifts due to the ever-changing states of our hearts and minds.âÂ
- A. Helwa, [Secrets of Divine Love: A Spiritual Journey into the Heart of Islam]( As we enter the last ten days of Ramadan â the holiest nights of the year â we felt it appropriate to focus on four of Allah's (S) names that signify His forgiving nature, [Al-Ghaffar, Al-Ghafir, Al-Ghafoor, Al-Afw](. Why? If there's one thing you need to know about Allah's (S) forgiveness, it's that it is immediate, vast, continuous, and complete, no matter your sins. In surat Al-Zumur, Allah (S) says to the Prophet, ÙÙÙÙ ÙÙٰعÙبÙادÙÙÙ Ù±ÙÙÙØ°ÙÙÙ٠أÙسÙرÙÙÙÙØ§Û عÙÙÙÙٰ٠أÙÙÙÙسÙÙÙÙ
Ù ÙÙا تÙÙÙÙÙØ·ÙÙØ§Û Ù

ÙØ©Ù Ù±ÙÙÙÙÙÙ Û Ø¥ÙÙÙÙ Ù±ÙÙÙÙÙÙ ÙÙغÙÙÙر٠ٱÙØ°ÙÙÙÙÙب٠جÙÙ
ÙÙعÙا Û Ø¥ÙÙÙÙÙÙÛ¥ ÙÙÙÙ Ù±ÙÙغÙÙÙÙر٠ٱÙرÙÙØÙÙÙ
Ù Say, ˹O Prophet, that Allah says,˺ âO My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in Allahâs mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins. He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [39:53] Allah's (S) expectation is not that we will be perfect and not sin. He created us as human, who will sin by nature, so that we may constantly turn to Him, who is the all merciful, all loving, and more. He didnât create us as angels who are perfect. No matter how much we fall, we must strive to not despair in Allahâs (S) love and mercy â even when we do not understand why things happen â and find our way back to Him. Allah (S) loves to forgive â you just have to ask for it and take the step towards Him. There is no better time to do turn to Him than in these last ten nights of Ramadan, when Allah is just waiting to pardon and forgive.Â
Â
It was narrated from âAishah that she said: âO Messenger of Allah, what do you think I should say in my supplication, if I come upon Laylatul-Qadr?â He said: âSay:  اÙÙÙÙÙÙÙ
Ù٠إÙÙÙÙÙ٠عÙÙÙÙÙÙ ÙÙرÙÙÙ
٠تÙØÙبÙ٠اÙÙعÙÙÙÙÙ ÙÙاعÙÙ٠عÙÙÙÙÙ âAllahumma innaka âafuwwun tuhibbul-âafwa, faâfu âanniâ (âO Allah, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me.â) [Sahih] Remember, the point of our existence is to constantly seek Him and return to Him, even when we do sin. He is the constant, His nature is constant. Our awareness of His nature can shift, depending on the state of our hearts and faith, but He does not change...
