The Democrats lose 90% of the rural counties in America. They lose because we regularly run candidates who do not know the people, culture, challenges, and opportunities of our communities. We know that this rural-urban divide is dangerous for America because it fosters grievance and political polarization. That is the situation in Maryland’s First District. I’m running against a far-left career politician, Heather Mizeur, who got her start in Takoma Park, a rich, well-connected DC suburb. A vote for a far-left politician is a vote for another two years of Andy Harris. This district will never elect Mizeur in November - just ask your neighbors. A vote for a far-left politician is a vote for another two years of Andy Harris. This district will never elect Mizeur in November - just ask your neighbors. We have to win in order to govern. That means taking 35,000 votes away from Andy Harris and moving these votes to the Democratic column in November. Here’s how we do it in Elkton and all of the other small towns throughout the First District. It's our time to defeat Andy Harris. I humbly ask for your vote on July 19th. Together, we can return integrity and decency to Maryland’s First District. Thanks, Dave Dave Harden is a Democrat running for Maryland's 1st Congressional District.
