What a year! We launched our campaign this week last May to defend our democracy from threats from abroad and at home, to build a next-generation economy in Maryland’s First District, and to unleash our hidden talent. Resharing our launch video which kicked off the campaign. Take a look - as our “Better Angels” it still reigns true. What a year! We launched our campaign this week last year to defend our democracy from threats from abroad and at home, to build a next-generation economy in Maryland’s First District, and to unleash our hidden talent. We are resharing our launch video which kicked off the campaign. Our campaign has traveled close to 9,000 miles to every corner of the district and has met with thousands of voters. We’ve listened to the concerns of families, small businesses, farmers, civic leaders, veterans, and the clergy. We’ve helped clean the beaches, run 5k road races, braved the polar bear plunge for the Special Olympics, and raised money for breast cancer. We’ve spoken to firefighters and teachers, shipbuilders and watermen, electricians, and students. We’ve eaten corn dogs at the Kent Island Carnival, crab cakes on the Ocean City boardwalk, pit beef BBQ in Chestertown, and drank great local craft beer and wine from Bel Air to Salisbury. We have proposed real solutions to rural economies, climate impact, inflation, and our national security. Through it all we have built a team that can win it all in November. We have our incredible Campaign Manager Marty Lostrom, Treasurer Joyce Utz, Field Director John Queen, Finance Dylan Greifinger, Senior Advisors Len Foxwell and Jennifer Pingley. Writers Syl Sobel, Laura Bennett, and Kevin McDonald, and brilliant multi-talented staff Dennis Parker, Matt Floyd, Sophia George, Claire Austin-Washburn, David Fromm, Matt Ben-Lev, Richard Schall, Courtney Corrado, Sutter Phillips, and Grace Sullivan. It takes a team to win in November, and I have the best in the business. We are in a spirited sprint to the July 19th Primary and then on to the General Election in November. We will win it all - and we could have never come this far, this fast, without your steadfast support. Thank you, Dave Dave Harden is a Democrat running for Maryland's 1st Congressional District.
