I decided to enter the race after Andy Harris fueled the attack on our democracy during the January 6th insurrection. This race is going to be a hard fight and will require great resources. We need to protect our democracy. [Will you chip in $5 or more to help us build the strong foundation we’ll need to win this race?]( We need a leader who understands the priorities, values, and culture of our First District. I grew up on a farm in Westminster and proudly graduated from the Carroll County public school system. My family has lived in this district for nine generations - with deep roots in the Eastern Shore. The land, water, people, and culture of this district are in my DNA. As an Officer in the Senior Foreign Service, I spearheaded responses to economic and political crises worldwide. I managed multi-billion dollar budgets, led a bureau with over 1,000 staff members, and earned the highest award in the Foreign Service for sustained extraordinary accomplishment in service of our country. This district, our economy, and our children’s futures are at an inflection point. With my experience and your help, we can build a better America, starting right here in Maryland’s First District. I served our nation under both Democratic and Republican Presidents. I know how to work across the aisle. We have had enough division and hyper-partisanship in Congress. It’s time for more results and less politics. [If you are tired of political insiders who consistently vote against the people of this district, then I hope I can count on your support in this campaign. By chipping in even a few dollars, you are helping us build a grassroots movement to deliver the kind of leadership our community deserves in Washington.]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $10 ]( [DONATE $25 ]( [DONATE $50 ]( [DONATE $100 ]( [DONATE $250 ]( [ANOTHER AMOUNT]( Let’s get to work, Dave Paid for by Harden for Congress Harden for Congress P.O.
