Can you believe this is the tenth year? [3602421454791242043.png] Wednesday, March 29, 2023 [Digital Trainer Does PWM and Much More »]( 10 Years of the Hackaday Prize It's a bit hard to believe, but 2023 marks the 10-year anniversary of [the Hackaday Prize!]( It's been an amazing decade, and we can't wait for the next decade of awesome challenges, astounding entries, and many fond Supercon memories to come. This year, the challenges reflect some of the most impactful themes that this community has addressed over the last ten years. Without further adieu: - Re-engineering Education: We're all great at something. Help others learn new skills!
- Assistive Tech: Make the lives of those with disabilities better/easier with gadgets, grips, and other gizmos.
- Green Hacks: Hack _for_ the planet this time! It's the only one we've got so far.
- Gearing Up: We all have our special thingamajigs. What awesome tools can you build?
- Save the World Wildcard: Your entry doesn't fit any of the categories? Anything goes, within reason, as long as it suits the spirit of the Prize. While the Hackaday Prize has always been more about making the world a better place than the prize money, it would hardly be a contest without some kind of compensation for the winners. Here we go: - Grand Prize: $50,000 + Supplyframe Design Lab residency
- 2nd Prize: $20,000
- 3rd Prize: $15,000
- 4th Prize: $10,000
- 5th Prize: $5,000
- 6th Prize: $5,000 Protolabs Manufacturing grant And that's not all! The top 50 finalists each receive $500 to put toward their project. The Re-Engineering Education challenge runs now through April 25th, so get cracking! Need some inspiration? Check out the projects below: Highlights from the IO
