Entries close a week from Monday, on March 6th. who's hung out with me (or read too many of my articles) knows I love to reference Sci-Fi novels. My excitement for the genre boils over with this contest. We've featured several entries so far but two of my favorites have been a [Voight-Kampff Machine]( -- used to detect replicants in Blade Runner -- and this tightly packed PCB which makes a very real [Star Trek communicator badge]( come to life. I've been keeping my eye on the Elysium [exoskeleton build]( which is so detailed it's like eyecandy. I haven't read the Dirk Gently books (Douglas Adam) yet but I watched the new BBC America series. One of the entries is bringing Dirk's [I-Ching Calculator]( from that universe to life. Check out [all of the entries]( if you found these interesting. There are some exquisite prizes up for grabs.
