Talent Round- Up Day", Fun with Music Day" and "Guest Star Day". We have never seen a complete set of FIVE cels of Mickey Mouse from this historic show in each of the days of the weeks costume/theme! Five cels in this lot! [The Fox Hunt Concept/Story Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938)]( [The Fox Hunt Concept/Story Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938)]( One of the single most elaborate hand detailed concept art pieces from the hands of the great Ferdinand Horvath for the Disney Short "The Fox Hunt". The detail is outstanding. [Song of the South Publicity Illustration Original Art (Walt Disney, 1946)]( [Song of the South Publicity Illustration Original Art (Walt Disney, 1946)]( Hank Porter creates this amazing original studio publicity piece using the studio super star Donald Duck to promote the holiday release of the studio feature film "The Song of the South". A Hank Porter original! [[H.R.Pufnstuf Double-Sided Concept Art by Wes Cook (Sid and Marty Krofft, 1969)] H.R.Pufnstuf Double-Sided Concept Art by Wes Cook (Sid and Marty Krofft, 1969)]( [[H.R.Pufnstuf Double-Sided Concept Art by Wes Cook (Sid and Marty Krofft, 1969)] H.R.Pufnstuf Double-Sided Concept Art by Wes Cook (Sid and Marty Krofft, 1969)]( These two lots are two of the most unique and rarest lots we have ever offered. Original noted Theme Park artist Wes Cook concept art for the landmark Sid and Marty Croft show "H.R. Pufnstuf!" Two pieces in each lot! The colors are sensational! [Steven Wetzel] Steven's Picks Steven Wetzel | Cataloger, Animation Art [Disneyland Haunted Mansion 'Quicksand' Stretching Room Embellished Portrait Print (Walt Disney, c. 1970s)]( [Disneyland Haunted Mansion "Quicksand" Stretching Room Embellished Portrait Print (Walt Disney, c. 1970s)]( The happiest place on earth is home to the scariest ride on earth and it all starts in the stretching room. I love watching people's faces as the room stretches and reveals the fate of the long lost dearly departed. A brilliant attraction designed by the original Disney Imagineer, Disney legend and one of Walt's "Nine Old Men", Marc Davis. This original piece of Disneyland's Haunted Mansion is one of my favorites. [Mickey's Last Stand Mickey Mouse Production Cel and Display Case (Walt Disney, 1999)]( [Mickey's Last Stand Mickey Mouse Production Cel and Display Case (Walt Disney, 1999)]( I love the special Plexiglas display for the animation cel. It's a reproduction of an actual animation disc from the animator's desk. I've never seen anything like this. That is why I have one of these in my collection. The cel is from Mickey Mouse Works which was the last project to use hand-painted production cels of Mickey Mouse. The cel is signed by the show's executive producers and animators Bobs Gannaway and Tony Craig. With only 100 available in the world, this is a "must have" for any collector of animation. [Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Multi-Character Production Cel (Amblin/Disney, 1988)]( [Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Multi-Character Production Cel (Amblin/Disney, 1988)]( You will never see all these characters from different Hollywood studios together again. This is a historic hand-painted production cel that combined studios and classic characters together for the first time. This is easily the center piece of any animation collection. [David Tosh] David's Picks David Tosh | Comics Cataloger [The Reluctant Dragon Daisy Duck 'Old Masters' Illustration Original Art (Walt Disney, 1938/1941)]( [The Reluctant Dragon Daisy Duck "Old Masters" Illustration Original Art (Walt Disney, 1938/1941)]( I first encountered this series of "Old World Masters" faux paintings many years ago in an old book, and I always enjoyed looking at them. It was quite a thrill for me to handle one of these original pieces in person! [Beanie and Cecil Multi-Character Production Cel Setup (Bob Clampett, 1962)]( [Beanie and Cecil Multi-Character Production Cel Setup (Bob Clampett, 1962)]( My life-long love of Chihuahua dogs may well have started with this cartoon. I can still hear this little dog singing, "I'm Careless, the Mexican Hairless" from this episode of one of my "never miss" childhood TV show favorites, Beany and Cecil! [Rocky and Bullwinkle 'Hat Trick' Sequence of Drawings by Gerald {NAME} (Jay Ward, c. 1990s)]( [Rocky and Bullwinkle "Hat Trick" Sequence of Drawings by Gerald {NAME} (Jay Ward, c. 1990s)]( "That trick never works!" There were many happy hours in my youth spent sitting in front of our old black and white television watching Rocky and Bullwinkle. This "hat" sequence shown before commercials and other segments in the show was one of my favorite bits, and I loved seeing this set of drawings by the show's original director. [Bill King] Bill's Picks Bill King | Director, Animation Art [The Flintstones Fred, Wilma, Barney and Betty Production Cel Setup on Key Master Background (Hanna-Barbera, 1962)]( [The Flintstones Fred, Wilma, Barney and Betty Production Cel Setup on Key Master Background (Hanna-Barbera, 1962)]( The gangs all here and they're on their way to Fabulous Rock Vegas and this Key Master setup appears in "The Rock Vegas Story" episode in Season 2. As a devoted Flintstones fan I can't think of a better image than to have both families together on a prehistoric road trip. It's a perfect composition that actually appears a few times in the show, which is (to me) a hallmark of early Hanna-Barbera TV animation. [Lady and the Tramp Lady Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1955)]( [Lady and the Tramp Lady Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1955)]( This early concept/story drawing captures this scene beautifully. I love the loose drawing style, the light color pallet and the motion. Lady and the Tramp is one of my favorite Disney films and this image really makes me smile. [A Feather in his Hare Bugs Bunny Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1948)]( [A Feather in his Hare Bugs Bunny Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1948)]( I am first and foremost a Bugs Bunny fan and the chance to own an original Bugs cel of this quality from a '40s Chuck Jones-directed short is a very rare opportunity. This would definitely be the centerpiece of my collection.
