The animation can be seen on YouTube and the story behind its making is fascinating. Exceptional images from the early years when the Flintstones were at their best. James Thurber fans, take notice! [Hare-Raising Hare Bugs Bunny Production Cel and Custom Background (Warner Brothers, 1946)]( [Hare-Raising Hare Bugs Bunny Production Cel and Custom Background (Warner Brothers, 1946)]( If forced to choose an all-time favorite cartoon character (no easy task for me), it would have to be Bugs Bunny. Here he is, from one of my favorite shorts! "Now let's dip our little patties in the water!" [The Mickey Mouse Club "Talent Round-Up Day" Set Design Painting by Art Riley (Walt Disney, 1955)]( I grew up watching The Mickey Mouse Club on TV, five days a week. This image of the set design for Friday's "Talent Round-Up" is at once familiar and fun. This would be a great piece to hang on the wall in someone's Man Cave!
