SCOTUS wants to overturn our equality movement! [#WeRepresent] [Ultra-conservative MAGA SCOTUS justices want to roll back our Equality movement! CHIP IN TO HELP GWEN FIGHT BACK!]( My Sisters and Brothers, We’re at a pivotal place in our nation, especially when Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas stated that after Roe v. Wade was overturned, the Court should reconsider other longstanding landmark cases, including the right to marry who you love. But I’m emailing you with an overwhelming sense of pride – yesterday, my Democratic House colleagues and I passed the Respect for Marriage Act! So, what is the Respect for Marriage Act? This Act will codify same-sex marriages from sea to shining sea and heighten additional marriage-equality protection. Additionally, this Act repeals DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act that defines “marriage” as being strictly between a man and a woman. {NAME}, we have much more to do to codify equality under the law. [Support our mission and donate any amount you can today, please.]( The disgusting fact is we plagued with a MAGA majority on the Supreme Court who won’t stop after overturning Roe v. Wade. They’re on a mission to completely gut the entirety of the Equality movement and reverse all the progress we’ve made! I will continue to fight for our constitutional rights and for equality of ALL!
