Today in 1862 President Lincoln issued a preliminary Emancipation Proclamation that freed all slaves

[Roe v. Wade is in trouble] Today in 1862 President Lincoln issued a preliminary Emancipation Proclamation that freed all slaves in rebel states on January 1, 1813. But 158 years later, twice-impeached Donald J. Trump and his cronies hung targets on the backs of black and minority voters and pulled out every trick in their white supremacist bag to suppress our voices and our votes. They failed. Black women and minority voters showed up, turned out, and delivered a historic victory for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris (America’s first woman of color Vice President)! We must never allow the fascist, bigoted, racist, Trump-loving Republican vocal minority to turn back the pages of progress. We will never allow our voices to be silenced or fall for their unethical intimidation tactics. [As always, we will stand strong and make our voices heard again in 2022 and beyond.](/UYM-UfMQSm_n_NvCQJQWeCnqhwKq-EQ0f63iDofFatg=?refcode=092221) [Contribute](/UYM-UfMQSm_n_NvCQJQWeCnqhwKq-EQ0f63iDofFatg=?refcode=092221) Together, #WeRepresent [Gwen signature](/UYM-UfMQSm_n_NvCQJQWeCnqhwKq-EQ0f63iDofFatg=?refcode=092221) Proudly representing Wisconsin's Fourth Congressional District Proud Co-Lead of the Violence Against Women Act 100% Pro-Choice Stay Connected!
