If you are having trouble viewing this email, [click here.]( [Dr. Steven Gundry | Founder, Gundry MD]( {NAME}, The days are getting shorter⦠the weatherâs getting colder⦠And for many of us, that can lead to one thing: The Winter Blues. (Aka that melancholy feeling you can get when it seems like you havenât seen the sun in weeks.) Seasonal gloom can really put a damper on life. But fortunately, there IS a reliable fix. Whenever you feel that slump setting in â Vitamin D can be an absolute saving grace. See, your body usually gets Vitamin D from direct sunlight. And this helps you feel healthy and upbeat. But when the days turn darker? Vitamin D becomes much harder to come by⦠And as a result, you can start to feel sad, stressed, and tired. Thankfully, there are 2 super simple ways to give your body a Vitamin D boost⦠And they can be fantastic for warding off those winter blues.1 [Diet Hack]
The Vitamin D Grocery List
Luckily, Vitamin D is packed in a few delicious superfoods, likeâ¦
- Salmon
- Egg Yolks
- Sardines
- Mushrooms
So be sure to add some of these to your next shop! (Or if you prefer to get your Vitamin D all in one place, I also recommend taking [these high-quality Vitamin D capsules](). Itâs my personal hack for avoiding the blues this time of year. Plus, itâs also great for fighting colds and supporting a strong immune system!2)
On the other hand, if youâve got a warm coat and a few minutes to spareâ¦

Bundle Up & Go
Go for a walk, that is. If you ask me, thereâs no reason to let some chilly weather stop you from getting your steps in⦠Especially on those rare sunny winter days. Just be sure to wrap up in whatever keeps you warm, and go for a lap or 2 around the block. Besides giving you a boost of Vitamin D from the sun⦠Walking can help boost your energy, so you feel refreshed and ready for the rest of the day.3(Something we could ALL use to get through the holiday.) Even just a quick 5-minute lap is a lot better than nothing! And when the occasion calls, you can even go skating, sledding, or (my favorite) skiing.Â
Both of these hacks are great ways to keep those winter blues at bay, and help you really make the most of the holidays. So be sure to give them a whirl, {NAME}. And donât be surprised if you find yourself feeling better than ever! Looking out for you, Steven Gundry, MD
