Strap in, {NAME} — I have some AMAZING stuff to show you today! If you are having trouble viewing this email, [click here.]( [Dr. Steven Gundry | Founder, Gundry MD]( {NAME} — I’ve got some incredible stuff to show you today. If you saw my last email, I shared a story about my neighbor Ron, and his wish to go to New York and watch a live show on Broadway… Which prompted me to ask the question: What dream goal would YOU like to achieve? … And the responses I received were fantastic! So first off — thank you to everyone who wrote in and shared their aspirations with me. Not only was it amazing to see what you’re looking forward to accomplishing… It was an honor to hear all about your life, and what makes your dreams so special. In fact, your responses were so creative, moving, uplifting, and inventive — I wanted to share a few snippets with you today… So we can ALL enjoy a little motivation boost. Now, quite a few folks — like Elaine, Maryanne, and Hector — shared their dreams to pursue creative passions.  I had always wanted to play the piano… so at age 72, I started taking lessons with a wonderful jazz pianist. Now, three years later, I am playing piano an hour a day. My plan is to keep at it until I can accompany myself singing… even though it is likely to take quite a few more years. — Elaine K. Elaine, your dedication to pursuing your passion for music is truly inspiring. Keep at it… and I have no doubt you’ll achieve your goal!  My goal is to write 12 short stories for a book of short stories by May 1st. Written and edited and ready for the next step. — Maryanne W. I'm so excited to hear about your creative endeavor, Maryanne. I wish you the best of luck. Keep those creative juices flowing!  One of my life goals has been to write a theatrical play. I am currently in discussions with a local theater company about a reading with the prospects of producing the play locally. — Hector V. Excellent goal, Hector. Sounds like you’re well on your way towards achieving it… keep up the fantastic work. Others sought to learn new skills…  My goal is to learn how to work my sewing machine. It’s very important for me to do many Charity quilts for the unfortunate… and believe me I intend to live to over 100 and keep sewing. — Carols A. That’s so inspiring, Carols. Your dedication to making a positive impact through charity quilts is admirable, and I have no doubt you'll achieve your goal and continue sewing for many joyful years ahead.  My goal is to be a competitive ballroom dancer. I'm only 68 (and a half) so I know I have plenty of time to achieve this. — Loretta N. I'm thrilled to hear about your goal to become a competitive ballroom dancer, Loretta. Your determination is truly admirable, and I have no doubt that you'll achieve your goal.  I’m 63 years old and am learning Egyptian Arabic twice a week with a teacher in Cairo on Zoom… I’m learning more of the language every day. — Martha M. It's wonderful to hear about your dedication to learning a new language, Martha. Keep up the great work! Lots of people also wrote about reconnecting with old hobbies and interests…  I went skydiving when I was 68 for the first time and loved it. My goal is to skydive on my 80th, 90th and 100 if I make it!! — Janice S. That's incredible, Janice. Your adventurous spirit is inspiring, and I have no doubt you'll achieve your skydiving goals — including those epic jumps at 80, 90, and 100!  Plan to get back into the waves soon to revive my 60 + years as an active surfer… currently swimming up to an hour a day 5 - 6 days a week. — Arthur D. I'm so glad to hear that you're determined to get back to the water and revive your passion for surfing, Arthur. Keep riding those waves!  I used to play saxophone back in high school… so my dream was and still is (I'm 71) to be on stage with a great orchestra/ symphony and just play my heart out and enjoy the "moment". I even recently bought some synthetic reeds for my mouthpiece and gonna pull my sax out and try getting my mouth/jaw back in shape — Lorraine S. It warms my heart to hear about your enduring passion for the saxophone, Lorraine. With your dedication and love for music, that dream of being on stage with an orchestra is entirely within reach. Many folks wrote about their travel goals…  Continue my pursuit of the goal to summit all 48 4,000 foot mountains in New Hampshire. I had done many of them in early life and began anew at the turn of the millennium.. I am now 67 and plan to summit the remaining 19 by age 70. — William S. Wow! Your determination to climb all those mountains is extremely inspiring, William. Your commitment is admirable — best of luck to you!  I've always wanted to own an RV and travel anywhere I can drive to, especially to California where my grandchildren are. I'd love to visit all of North and South America. — Catharine B. Your dream of owning an RV, especially to be closer to family, is truly heartwarming. Good luck pursuing this adventure, Catharine… safe travels!  I am 83 years old. My ambition is to visit 100 countries. I have reached 92 so far. I'll let you know when I get there!! — June R. June, your ambition to visit 100 countries is incredible! I'm thrilled to hear about your journey, and I have no doubt that you'll reach your goal. Keep exploring and enjoying every moment of your travels. Not to mention, quite a few people wrote about completing their goals — and how they’re setting sights on new aspirations.  I had a goal to write a book and finally attempted to do so at 76 years of age. It’s now published and available on Amazon… achieved at 77 and I’m super proud of myself! My next goal is to try and get on a number of podcasts, do a blog and write a book full of my poetry that I discovered was deeply seated within my many years of journals. And I have many more. — Vivian S. Congratulations on achieving your remarkable goal of publishing a book, Vivian! I'm excited to see you pursue your next creative endeavors with podcasts, blogging, and poetry. Your journey is a testament to the power of lifelong learning and creativity.  Ive been able to travel, have had a full career, now my goal is to produce beautiful colorful paintings that make people happy. I'm working it! — Andrea M. That sounds like a wonderful and fulfilling goal, Andrea. I'm delighted to hear about your artistic journey and wish you every success in brightening people's lives with your paintings.  I did accomplish one of my goals. When I turned 73 I did tandem skydive from 13,000 feet! The very next week I rappelled off a 330 foot building in San Diego. Both things I had never done before! I have traveled almost every where I wanted to go. Now at almost 82 my goal is to remain as healthy as possible so that I can see and be active with my great grandkids for as long as possible. I go to all their events at school and am known as grandma to all their friends, which makes me very happy. — Gail O. That’s incredible, Gail! Your adventurous spirit is truly admirable. Keeping up with your great grandkids sounds like a wonderful goal… best of luck to you. Others — like Cheryl, Jacqui, and Lee — shared a whole list of goals! Which were a pleasure to read.  I want to continue teaching piano, working in my yard, driving twice a week to personal trainer (165 miles from my home), staying healthy, and enjoying grandkids… (I'm 78 and truly try to live each moment of this life that I've been given...with a thankful heart). — Cheryl J.  1. Fix house 2. Visit Tasmania 3. Sort garden 4 . Get out on my paddle board next summer 5. Learn to sail 6. Take up jogging to keep my three working cocker spaniels happy. I’m only 75, after all! — Jacqui F.  At 75….I’m going to spend 1 year in Costa Rica volunteering at a wildlife rehab…..and in that year, I will learn Spanish. At 76, I plan to go to an island in the S. Pacific, for a year….and in that year, I’ll perfect the Polynesian that I’ve been learning. At 77, I plan to go to Bhutan and learn more about peaceful meditation, and learn Bhutanese. At 78, I plan to go to Borneo and work at the Sepilok orangutan refuge. At 79, I’m going to look at the 4 countries I’ve visited, decide which one I liked best, and spend an additional year in that country. At 80, I’m going to come home, but I’m going to travel back through as many countries as I can as I make my way back. Then at 80, back home, I’m going to load up on more rescue animals. I haven’t planned beyond that YET because I want to see where these new interests lead me. And THAT is exciting to think about. — Lee Of course, that’s just a snippet of the countless emails that continue to pour in… And if you’re wondering — it’s not too late to share your answer!
