This story perfectly illustrates the transformation you can make by staying devoted to your health.

This story perfectly illustrates the transformation you can make by staying devoted to your health. {NAME}, I have a heartwarming story to share with you today. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Chellie on my podcast — a longtime member of our Gundry MD family… And she spilled the beans on her absolutely incredible health journey and physical transformation.  Here’s the before and after of Chellie’s transformation. Outstanding job — way to go! For years, Chellie struggled with tons of unexplained health issues — from severe swelling and weight gain to hypothyroidism, diabetes, and fatty liver. And despite her best efforts… Her health seemed to keep spiraling further out of control. Then one day, after a dire hospitalization… and being told by doctors that her conditions would only worsen… fear gripped her heart. But she refused to accept this fate. Soon after, she recalled seeing me on TV – where I spoke about my own health struggles and journey. Chellie felt a spark of hope. And next, she started reading my books to make serious changes to her own diet, habits, and lifestyle. The transformation was miraculous. In only 9 months, she shed over 100 pounds… and most of her ailments were flat-out gone! She’s now healthy, vibrant, and more full of life than ever… And in fact — during our conversation, she shared an endearing moment that perfectly illustrates this. A couple years ago, she randomly asked her husband (who she’s been married to since she was 18):  “Which Chellie do you like better… Your 18-year-old bride? Or the healthy ‘older’ lady I am now?” She assured him it wasn’t a trick question, and there were no wrong answers, since they were both still “her.” So he wouldn’t get in trouble. He paused for a minute to say:  “You’re not going to believe this, but I like you now. I like my healthy Chellie!” This moment was the perfect reminder of the profound impact of embracing a healthier way of living. And how staying committed to your health can not only benefit you — but also everyone around you. But here’s the thing: I’ve also seen the OTHER side of the coin. People who need, and even want to change… But don’t know where to start. This is where YOU can make a real difference. As a health-conscious subscriber committed to your own wellbeing… Your experience could be incredibly valuable to someone in need. Your wisdom and understanding could provide the encouragement someone needs to transform their life… So when someone reaches out, feeling lost and overwhelmed — remember how impactful your words can be. Remind them they’re not alone… and that it’s never too late to make a change. Share your ups and downs, offer advice, and let them know you believe in their ability to transform themselves for the better. Together, we can create a ripple effect of health and wellness — one conversation at a time. That’s actually why today, I wanted to ask you something: What would you say if someone struggling with their health asked YOU for advice? Maybe it’s a family member who’s lost motivation to stay healthy — and come to you asking for help… Or a close friend who used to be fit and active in high school, but “let themselves go” a bit later in life — and comes asking for advice. Would you offer your support by sharing your own “hero’s journey?” Perhaps you’d remind them of how many challenges they’ve overcome already? Or that small steps can lead to radical changes? And that you’ll always be there to cheer them on? After all, it’s never too late to look — and feel — better than you have in your entire life… And it’s stories like Chellie’s that remind us of our ability to transform our lives through dedication and making healthier choices. So go ahead and hit “REPLY” to this email, and tell me:  What advice would you give to someone struggling with their health? There’s a million ways to approach this topic, and no wrong answers, so I’m curious to hear your thoughts. Reading heartfelt messages from subscribers really is one of the best parts of my day… And I’d truly LOVE to hear what advice you’d give to someone in need. So I look forward to hearing from you, and hope you have a wonderful rest of your day! Looking out for you, Steven Gundry, MD [Steven Gundry, MD] P.S. Once you type in your response and hit “SEND”...
