This is my pup Whiskey. He’s a 16-month old Cavapoo, which is a split between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle. I take him to work every day because I work from home. And I’m glad I do, because he’s a hell of a salesman (or sales-pup?) Every time I post a pic of him, it gets double or triple the engagement of anything else. Couple weeks ago a client even signed up because he felt a connection with me after seeing a post about Whiskey. And I’ve made many other sales that started with someone engaging on a post or replying to an email about my puppy son. This brings up a great point about sales. In order for someone to buy from you, they need to respect you. Trust you. And feel rapport with you. Respect comes from knowing your shid and being good at what you do. Trust comes from being a good person and doing what you say you’ll do. Rapport comes when there is commonality, mutual trust, and understanding. Without these 3 things, you have to be the best salesperson in the world. But when you combine them? Sales come EZ. When used correctly, I haven’t found a better channel than email to do all 3 of these things at the same time. Day 3 of the 3-Day Email Campaign Blitz is about writing emails to sell your stuff. But the emails don’t have to be serious business all the time. It could be about something unrelated and fun, like Whiskey. Something your people can relate to. Because as you know now… rapport is a big piece of the sales puzzle. If your audience finds something in common with you, it increases rapport and makes them more likely to buy. Make sense? So if you have an email list and want to sell more of your products/services/programs to it… You should join us. Not only will we have fun. We’ll get more done in those 3 days than some people do in 3 months, or even 3 years. Whiskey may even make a surprise appearance to tell you some of his sales secrets.
