get them hooked [View in Web Browser]( I smoked weed for the first time at the ripe age of 13. I remember sitting in my friend's room from intermediate school, let's call him "Karl", and taking a hit of a baby joint his older brother left in the house. And boyyy was it awesome. I was hooked. Weed was only the gateway too. Karl's parents didn't keep a close eye on him. So for the following 5 years we were friends, I experimented with a bunch of other substances. Nothing too crazy. Just degenerate kids having fun. But because he showed me the gateway drug, and because I had a great time, I trusted any other recommendations he had. He would say let's try it, and without much convincing I'd be game. Now, of course this wasn't the smartest decision. Teenage kids should NOT be doing this. But I'm telling this story to make a point. My relationship with Karl, although a bit shady, isn't much different than you and your customers. - They start out not knowing you - Once they've seen you around for a bit and vibe with you, they start to know/like/trust you - You offer something small, a gateway drug of sorts - If they like that, they're hooked on trying more with you So ask yourself... What is a "Gateway Drug" you can sell that will get them hooked? Obviously you shouldn't sell actual drugs lol. But you get the point, I hope. This Gateway Drug is the small first thing to sell them. It should be something that gets them a quick win. If they like it, selling the bigger thing becomes far easier. Make sense? This month I'll be working with my Elite clients to plan, create, and sell their own. Reach out if you want some 1-on-1 help with yours. Alright, that's enough drug talk for today. See you tomorrow. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
