--------------------------------------------------------------- FEBRUARY 2022 NEWS ROUNDUP Hi team,

--------------------------------------------------------------- FEBRUARY 2022 NEWS ROUNDUP Hi team, This is a heavy and challenging time as news continues to break from Ukraine. We are holding her people in our hearts and praying for peace. In moments like this, it can be difficult to find any glimmers of hope. But we had an incredible, history-making moment last week, when President Biden formally nominated Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court — the first Black woman ever nominated to our highest court. It's a powerful choice, and she deserves a fair and swift nomination process. Outside of world events, it’s been an incredible month with the Groundwork Project family. We celebrated Black History Month by continuing to amplify the work and wisdom of Black organizers, we had an incredible visit to Alabama where we met with several grantees and partners on the ground, and we welcomed a new digital director to our team! You’ll see below that Groundwork is really making an impact — and it’s all thanks to the support of folks like yourself. Thanks Joe Kennedy Founder GROUNDWORK IN ALABAMA As you know, Joe had a fantastic trip to Alabama earlier this month. We've been getting great feedback from folks on the ground.
