I’m going to make this quick, but I needed to follow up before midnight. You don’t have to

I’m going to make this quick, but I needed to follow up before midnight. You don’t have to look far to see how critical sustained, long-term, 365-days-a-year organizing is. The latest voter suppression attempts in Georgia are appalling. What is happening with legislation that harms trans youth in Arkansas and Alabama and South Dakota is vicious. And this is just to name a few egregious examples from the GOP over the last week... I’m tired of the cycle repeating itself. I’m tired of communities being disenfranchised and not brought to the table when the issues that impact them and their families the most are up for debate. I’m tired of news cycles so mentally harmful and exhausting, yet too critical to turn away from. I created Groundwork because I adamantly believe the ONLY way to overcome these regressive attempts to disenfranchise and dehumanize is by continuing to lean on the organizations and activists on the ground to lead the way. And it’s our job to ensure they have resources -- both financially and through volunteer support -- to make their impact. I’m humbly asking you to be a part of that work with a donation today. Here’s a link I’m tracking closely for tonight’s deadline: [( Groundwork believes that dramatic investment in community organizing is the single best way to remedy injustice, build power in disenfranchised communities, and create a future that is inclusive, representative, and innovative. If this sounds like a mission and effort you can get behind, here’s a link to give to ensure your contribution gets funneled to efforts where your dollars can make the biggest impact. [( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [Express Donate: $5]( [Express Donate: $10]( [Express Donate: $25]( [Or, donate another amount]( Once again, thank you for your support. Feel free to flag for my team efforts you see nationwide that need support or a platform to make an impact. Joe --------------------------------------------------------------- Groundwork Project was founded by Joe Kennedy III to support community organizers, advocates, and activists nationwide who are working year-round to build a just, free, and equitable future for all. For decades, the Democratic Party has under-resourced, under-valued, and under-recognized the importance of local political infrastructure and year-round grassroots organizing. This needs to change. We're directing resources, attention, and support to the local advocates and state-based organizations doing the deep, long-term organizing that Democrats need to build a more diverse party, expand its base, win elections, and deliver progressive policy reforms. [Contribute now.]( [CONTRIBUTE]( Individual contributions will be allocated as follows: $5,000 per calendar year to a bank account that operates as a Federal PAC, and the remainder to the Non-Contribution Account of our PAC. Paid for by Groundwork Project, www.groundworkproject.com, not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee.
