I do and I understand." - Confucius   Hey there, {NAME}, Welcome to The Groovy Marketer - With an eye on the future and a finger on the pulse of today's trends, we're here to fuel your passion for improving yourself. So strap in for an exciting ride through the world of marketing as we delve into its fascinating depths. Remember – marketing isn't just about selling products; it's about telling a story that resonates with people... And we're here to help you tell that story brilliantly! Let’s dive in! The Effect of Quality on Google Search In a recent podcast from the Google Search team they discussed how quality affects different aspects of search. Quality is a complex topic that impacts almost everything search systems do, including crawling, indexing, ranking, etc. When crawling a new site, Google will give the homepage the benefit of the doubt and crawl it eagerly unless the content is low quality gibberish. For subsequent pages discovered, Google will look at the quality of previous pages crawled and make predictions on whether to crawl new pages. The crawl scheduler prioritizes URLs to crawl based on predicted quality and change frequency. For established sites links from across the web indicate their importance, so old lower quality content doesn't have as much impact. But for a new site, low quality content can hurt crawling and indexing. Some factors discussed related to quality: - Duplicate content is generally not a big concern, only excessive duplication may hurt. - Affiliate links are fine if alongside unique, helpful content. Just copied affiliate content is not useful. - Translated content should be reviewed, not just machine translated. - Quality can always be improved to get out of "crawling jails." Focus on making new content high quality. Overall, quality is the biggest factor driving Google's crawling, indexing, and ranking decisions. It affects almost everything search systems do. Ostriches (Struthio camelus) are the largest living species of birds, and they have large eyes that are indeed bigger than their brains. The size of an ostrich's eye is quite remarkable. Each eye can be up to two inches (around 5 centimeters) in diameter, while the ostrich's brain is relatively small in comparison. The exact dimensions may vary slightly among individual ostriches, but the general fact remains true. The large eyes of the ostrich are an adaptation that serves their survival needs. As flightless birds, ostriches rely heavily on their vision to detect predators and locate food in their vast habitats. Their keen eyesight allows them to spot potential dangers from afar and enhances their chances of survival. While the size of an ostrich's brain may not be impressive relative to its body size, they are still intelligent animals, and their brains are well-adapted to meet their specific ecological and behavioral needs. Ostriches are known for their swift running abilities and are highly adapted to their unique environment, making them fascinating creatures to study and observe.   Groove Digital's BLOG: In case you haven't yet visited our blog, here the link that gets you to lots of good info for you...
