Between draconian COVID lockdowns and the first few months of Joe Biden’s presidency, we’ve seen some unprecedented threats to our constitutional rights. In only the first 100 days, the Biden administration has advanced a radical agenda focused on restricting your freedom, silencing your speech, and threatening the rights of your daughters and sisters by embracing far-reaching gender ideology that disregards biological distinctions between the sexes. With this happening around us, it can be easy to lose hope. But at Alliance Defending Freedom, our faithful clients give us a reason to hope every day. These are people who love America and understand its uniqueness in human history. Not only that, but they are willing to stand for our cherished freedoms in a hostile culture. ADF is a non-profit legal organization committed to protecting religious freedom, free speech, marriage and family, parental rights, and the sanctity of life. In the past three years, we’ve had the privilege of representing brave Americans such as… - Jack Phillips. ADF received a 7-2 Supreme Court victory in Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission for [cake artist Jack Phillips](. The high court ruled that the government was wrong to punish Jack for running his business according to his religious beliefs. - Female athletes who refuse to be sidelined. In 2019, ADF attorneys came to the aid of [female athletes competing in Connecticut high school track and field who were forced to compete against males]( because of a policy adopted by their athletic conference. - Church communities standing up to unfair COVID-19 restrictions. In 2020, ADF defended religious freedom for 17 church and ministry clients. We also assisted, or [equipped others to assist, over 3,200 other churches and ministries]( as they attempted to navigate dizzying COVID-19 restrictions imposed upon them by their state and local governments. Every year, ADF receives thousands of legal requests. But last year, the number of these requests SKYROCKETED. Many of these requests came from churches and ministries who were treated unfairly in COVID-19 regulations. Many others come from people of faith who are being punished for living out their beliefs. They are small-business owners, church members, and students—people who simply want to honor God with their life and work. Because ADF relies on the financial support of people like you to continue to stand up for your constitutional rights, we need to gather resources to take on more cases, or we’ll have to turn some of these people away. [Would you consider giving to ADF today?]( Your support is vital to protecting our constitutional freedoms. Our clients understand that we can no longer sit around and hope that someone else will take a stand against impending tyranny. Those days are over. We need to do something about it NOW before it’s too late. Thank you for your generosity.
