A Message from the Goulets
Â
Hey pen friends,
Weâre staying fairly busy with our business, two kids, and all the demands that go along with these things. Weâre trying to eat well, exercise, and spend time on the important things in our lives. We donât always have the energy or time at the end of the day to do everything we set out to do. Sometimes there are really simple things we have overlooked that could have made our lives better in the long run. When we moved into our house, there was originally a motion-sensing floodlight above our garage that makes it easier to see outside at night. This stopped working shortly after we moved in, so I (Brian) bought a replacement, new bulbs, and fully intended to install it. But days turned into years, and it just never happened. This past weekend, after about 2 minutes of searching for it and 8 minutes installing it, we now have a working floodlight. Iâm sure we all have our âfloodlights in the garageâ. I just had to laugh because like a lot of you, this was just one of those simple things that I put off that could have been making our lives a little better for 7 years, if I had just spent 10 minutes doing it back then. I could judge myself and feel guilty about that, but thatâs a pretty fruitless exercise. Instead, Iâm going to be happy that I did finally complete that project. Better late than never, right?
Write On,
[Brian & Rachel Signature ](
