{NAME}, When I first decided to run for Congress back in 2019, I asked a few of my friends what should be my first step. They put me in touch with people at EMILYs List who welcomed me for a meeting. Here was my pitch: We need a scientist who can tell facts and reality from the vitriol being spewed by the Republicans representing my district. EMILYs List told me they’d be there to help. I learned their name was an acronym – Early Money Is Like Yeast (it makes the dough grow) – and if I was going to have a chance to win, we needed to raise the resources to do it. They helped me build a campaign team and worked with me each day to run a campaign that excelled both at the big things – raising money and contacting voters - and the small things, too – conveying the love I have for my home on Long Island and the empathy I bring to help people in need. They were among my earliest supporters in my last campaign, and have been with me throughout this campaign, as well. I’m proud to tell you our partnership continues with their formal endorsement today of my campaign to flip NY-01 Blue. A campaign cannot win on its own – it takes a lot of help from a lot of people. We’ve come a long way since our launch in early October, and I can see the momentum building on our side, and growing every day. I hope you’ll join EMILYs List in supporting my campaign today so we can expand our outreach even more. Can we count on you for $10, $25, or $50 today? Here is a link to make a contribution: [( Our team is growing, our field plan is in full swing, we’re reaching more voters each day, and we’re gaining even more steam in the race to flip NY-01 BLUE. Join me today and let’s flip this seat! Nancy Goroff P.S. Our next FEC reporting deadline is coming up on March 31, and we need to raise as much as we can to flip this seat in November and safeguard the House from more GOP extremism. Any amount you can give before that crucial date will make a huge difference. Thank you!
