I’m writing to share this message from my friend, Craig Herskowitz, who has recently decided to withdraw from the race for NY-01 and run for State Senate. I’ll be on the ballot this November. In the meantime, I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work electing Nancy Goroff as our next representative in Congress for District 1! I’ve been listening to the needs of voters for months. They want a fighter in Congress who takes bold action to improve their daily lives. They want a candidate with proven values. We need that kind of Democrat to draw a contrast with the failures of Nick LaLota and send him packing. Nancy Goroff fits the bill. She’s the candidate ready to lead Long Island Democrats to another victory following the reelection of Rep. Tom Suozzi. I've gotten to know Nancy through this process.
