I’m writing to share this message from my friend, Craig Herskowitz, who has recently decided to withdraw from the race for NY-01 and run for State Senate. I’m honored to have earned Craig’s support for our campaign, and look forward to working with him to serve Long Island. With my thanks, Nancy   [A graphic featuring a photo of Craig Herskowitz with his logo for his former congressional campa]( Dear {NAME}, I’m writing today because I have an exciting announcement: I’m suspending my campaign for Congress to become the Democratic candidate in NYS Senate District 2. I’ll be on the ballot this November. In the meantime, I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work electing Nancy Goroff as our next representative in Congress for District 1! I’ve been listening to the needs of voters for months. They want a fighter in Congress who takes bold action to improve their daily lives. They want a candidate with proven values. We need that kind of Democrat to draw a contrast with the failures of Nick LaLota and send him packing. Nancy Goroff fits the bill. She’s the candidate ready to lead Long Island Democrats to another victory following the reelection of Rep. Tom Suozzi. I've gotten to know Nancy through this process. Not only does Nancy represent the values of Long Islanders, she has deep connections to our community and experience fighting for democracy in our own backyard. Nancy is the real deal. Her experience in the community is essential for activating and organizing voters. Petitioning season is upon us, so be sure to say “hello” when you see us out in your community with a clipboard and be sure to sign for Nancy Goroff!
