{NAME}, I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend with friends and family. As we head into a busy week and toward the end of the year, this quiet Sunday evening has me thinking about duty, responsibility, and commitment – and how the GOP majority in the House refuses to do the job they’re elected to do. After dragging their feet for a month on a budget resolution to keep the federal government open, late last week House Republicans unanimously voted to pursue an impeachment inquiry into President Biden – then adjourned for the rest of the year. Not only is this an enormous waste of time that Congress could spend solving problems, it means when they return after the New Year, the House will have a little over a week to stop another looming government shutdown. This is not what the vast majority of voters want from their leaders, and every Republican representative knows there is not sufficient cause for this inquiry – including my opponent, Rep. Nick LaLota. I know we can do better. When I speak with voters here in Suffolk County, they are tired of the theatrics they’re getting from House Republicans. They want, and they have every right to expect, real leadership. I will bring the same sense of duty to Congress that I’ve demonstrated with every important cause I’ve been involved in. If you’re ready for a representative who will lead with integrity and the level of commitment that every voter deserves, I could really use your help this evening since we’re two weeks away from our first FEC reporting deadline of my campaign. Can I count on you for $10, $25, $100, or any amount that works for you? Here’s a link to give: [( Thank you again for being on this journey with me to secure a thriving future for NY-01.
