Saturday marks one month of my campaign for Congress in NY-01. Can you believe it?! Hi {NAME}, Saturday of this week will mark the first month of my campaign for Congress in NY-01. Can you believe it?! This month, we’ve been busy setting the framework to flip this seat. Today, I wanted to share just a few photos from the trail, so you can see what I’ve been up to. Much of my first month has been focused on helping others and building our community of dedicated volunteers. I flashed a quick selfie while canvassing in Stony Brook for Lillian Clayman, Dave Calone, Jonathan Kornreich, and Steve Englebright. While kicking things off right for my campaign is a high priority, we have critical town and county elections right around the corner. Here I am going door-to-door for our local Democrats ahead of the November 7 election. Local elections play a crucial role in shaping the very foundations of our communities, directly impacting the daily lives of residents, and they are an essential cornerstone of democratic governance. The following few photos are from text and phone banking shifts – I’ve spent nearly every Wednesday evening of the past two months talking to voters about our excellent slate of candidates. Another quick selfie, with Town Council candidate Carol Russell and members of the Brookhaven Town Democratic Committee Women’s Caucus, at the end of a successful text banking session. Another picture with Town Council candidate Kerry Spooner and the Brookhaven Town Democratic Committee Women’s Caucus, holding yard signs for Kerry and local candidates Ryan McGarry, Lillian Clayman, and Dave Calone. Here I am with County Legislator candidate Dorothy Cavalier and our group at BTDC Headquarters, on the first day of my campaign. (Yes, it was a Wednesday – and I still made time to text bank while raising more on Launch Day than my GOP opponent did in all of Q3.) I am committed to empowering my fellow Democrats and fostering a strong volunteer organization not only to secure victory in NY-01 but to vigorously contest and succeed in every race where we challenge Republicans, ensuring inclusive representation for our shared values. I am profoundly grateful for the support of individuals like you who share my enthusiasm for a Blue wave on Long Island to ensure our children can make a home for themselves here in Suffolk County. Together, we will work tirelessly to turn this vision into a reality. Thank you for being part of this effort. With appreciation for all you do, Nancy P.S. [Tomorrow night is our very first end-of-month fundraising benchmark. Maggie, my campaign manager, let me know that we have $11,000 left to raise. I’d be remiss if I didn’t ask you for a boost now. Will you help us close the gap and show Republicans on Long Island that Democrats are united and ready for change?](   [Support Nancy's campaign today!]( Follow Nancy's campaign on social: [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Instagram]( [flickr]( ©2023 Goroff for Congress, all rights reserved Paid for by Goroff for Congress Goroff for Congress PO Box 215 East Setauket, NY 11733 United States If you believe you received this message in error or wish to no longer receive email from us, please click to [unsubscribe](.

Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
