As I'm sure you've heard by now, Donald Trump has officially nominated Amy Coney Barrett to be the next Justice on the Supreme Court.
We already know that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell plans to hold a vote in the Senate to fill the seat of the irreplaceable Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg before Inauguration Day -- and quite possibly before Election Day.
McConnellâs conservative appointee will stack the courts against progress for generations to come. Our health care, climate, and reproductive choice are all on the line.
This election -- and these next few weeks -- are critical. It is imperative that we not only replace Donald Trump but that we defeat his allies who have emboldened the very worst of this president, including my opponent, the Trump sycophant Lee Zeldin.
We must elect leaders who will fight for our health care, the future of our planet, and reproductive freedoms. As a scientist, you can count on me to be at the forefront of these fights when we defeat Zeldin on November 3.
Today, I am asking you to channel your anger into action. Help me ensure my team has every resource they need to turn out Suffolk County voters so we can defeat one of Trump's most trusted anti-choice, science-denying allies, who voted against the Affordable Care Act fifteen times: [(
